Sender Compliance Report

The Sender Compliance Report (Insights > Senders) aggregates email senders across all your domains, providing DMARC compliance statistics with a focus on identifying inconsistent authentication patterns.

Purpose

This report helps identify senders where some domains are compliant while others are not. It's particularly useful when managing multiple domains that send from the same services, making it easier to spot configuration inconsistencies across your domain portfolio.

Note: Focus on 'Low %' for senders you set up and control, as these may indicate misconfiguration.

Key Points

  • The report highlights discrepancies in compliance across domains for the same sender
  • Senders with 0% Low compliance but higher High compliance indicate inconsistent configuration
  • Email forwarders you don't control will naturally show varying compliance
  • Improving compliance for services you do not control usually requires ensuring all your senders have DKIM configured

Report Columns

The report includes the following columns:

  • Sending Server: The source domain of the email sender, with logos for common services
  • Domain Count: Number domains this service is using to send email
  • Total Count: Total number of emails from this sender across all domains
  • Compliant %: Overall percentage of reported emails that were DMARC compliant
  • High %: The highest per-domain compliant percentage for this sender
  • Low %: The lowest per-domain compliant percentage for this sender

Expandable Details

Clicking on any row expands to show a breakdown by domain with:

  • Domain: The individual domain being used by this sender
  • Count: Number of emails for this specific domain
  • Compliant %: DMARC compliance percentage for this domain
  • DKIM Align %: Percentage of messages with DKIM alignment
  • SPF Align %: Percentage of messages with SPF alignment
